NAKEDEYE SOLOING 2020: IMPACTFUL COLLABORATIONS
SOLOING2020 was a COVID-era commissioning project inviting composers to write solo pieces for NakedEye in 2020. For each commission, the composer received $600 to write a new piece and the performer received $600 to perform and record it.
The project was born out of a need to create and connect despite our isolation. Thank you to all who participated and donated time, $$, and enthusiasm to the eight-week long experiment. The eight premiere and conversation livestreams are now open to the public.
